does anyone know the number of presales that GTA IV has? Also is it possible that if u reserved a copy at gamestop they could run out of copies before everyone gets theres?

I doubt they'll run out of copies for preorders. Stamping out plastic discs isn't like manufacturing hardware - there's no reason for any kind of "shortage" for people who don't preorder (I never do, and I've never been unable to find a game since they stopped putting them on cartridges)

Well I can imagine that happens but knowing GTA their will be enough copies on the shelves.

yeah cause one of my buddies was telling me when he preordered san andreas when he went to pick his copy up they had told him they had sold out of them. so i hope it doesnt happen with GTA IV. and i wasnt to sure if there was a website for any type of preorder copies sold.

I think TheSource posted the pre-orders, it was upwards of 3.2mil. I'm not sure if this was WW or just NA.
