Wow. First of all, it was a joke. There are very few places, such as TheEscapist.com, where people are banned for that kind of comment. However, it's useless and off-topic. My brief response was only because you brought it up. If the Wii instruments can be used with the PS3 or 360 like the PS2 instruments can be used with the Wii version, and everything else is the same, then the versions are equal. If not, I would say the PS2 IS better. However, that's completely beside the point and only said because you were trolling and figured there probably wasn't a real arguement for it. But no positive aspect being "made?" Wow. I just commented that Rock Band is still a great purchase despite it not havin DLC. I'm not the one railing against this version of the game. I see some Wii fans are boycotting because of the perceived lazy port, and perhaps they are right. It's certainly not as good as the PS3 and 360 versions. No one can really argue that. However, I still think Rock Band is a great experience and I want Wii owners to get into it as well. Everyone should be playing this game. But no, Onimusha12, you certainly didn't create trolling, but you certainly are good at it.

Oh, you mean the tour modes? That's too bad, but it still has the GH-esque play-through mode, so when compared to GH3 I would still go with Rock Band. That said, I understand your disappointment. I wish the Wii version was the same so everyone could experience this game to its full capacity.

Wow Windbane, calm down. I see taking this any farther is only going to incite more off-topic anger from you. Let's just drop it and get back on topic okay? As much as I'd love to give you more room to grandstand and draw the spotlight towards yourself I think there's much to be discussed in this thread about the unique advantages of the Wii version.

I'm sure this version of the game will sell phenomenally, Guitar Hero III has proven a compromised version of a game can still give the top conendors a run for their money.
