Going Online With Mario Kart Wii (And Hands On With That Wheel Thing)

Kotaku got to try the game, and they not only found the online to perform quite well (hopefully mean Smash Bros. is just part of a learning process for them), but they also made this interesting comment.

The Wii Wheel, the steering wheel shaped shell for the Wii Remote that is packed in with Mario Kart Wii—the value of which we've regularly questioned/mocked—is actually quite good.

Now the wheel may not work for everyone, but the point is that they hadn't actually tried it yet. Then again, the Wii itself got such detractions until people first got to play it at E3 '06.

Kotaku is often pretty idiotic, but I gotta give them credit for admitting they're wrong.

I would, but this site doesn't allow title editing.
