So you really played the introduction, with the minimum liberty (the most story focused part, not much exploration) and the minimum gameplay possibilities (basic moves only, basic fights, no challenges). It opens up after that. You should try to play more...

Lol, to be fair, I thought I was almost done with the game when I

I was the same as you. I thought it was closer to the end then it really was. Delighted to see it go on much longer. BTW that's not a nice spoiler you included there. You should at least mark it with spoiler tags.

Oops, sorry. By the way, is it showing as a spoiler line now? Because CGI kindly edited it for me but I still see the spoiler?

No worries. We sometimes get caught up.

My edit actually came after his post. I believe he edited it out of his reply (just to clear up any confusion).

Congrats! Deserved much more than Red Dead Redemption 2. Btw, it's the second year straight that a single player game win The Games Awards.

Yeah! Singleplayer Games have the most beautiful and emotional videogames-moments in my Gaming-Life :)

To ease some tensions, let's change things up!

Here are some renders from the game. Raf Grassetti, Art Director at Sony Santa Monica, released pieces of his artwork for the game on the same website where some of mine is.

Looks good :)

I do love the slow paced gameplay but its understandable it can be a personal negative, the game as a whole is innovating for the genre and it's for a big part next level and a build up from games like The witcher 3 that also did the open world nicely in my opinion and the only thing about this game that annoys me is how the clumsiness of animation from the main character can get into the way of needingly fast reaction when doing missions .I heard some complains about the length of the game that i do find a noncomplaint myself, as for me its a lengthy enjoyment and if i need i will just take a break and play other games in between.

I also would have liked more options to spend money and change the world around you with money like lets say investing it in property and/or remaining militia.

So yeah overall i really really enjoy this game and it does deserve a lot of praise for the things that make it shine.

I read that a lot. I've played the game extensively and it is great, yet what is innovative about it? The only thing 'new' or advanced is the weather system. Just curious as I can't think of anything else.

The attention put into the terrain and elevation, how trees look actually old and forests pull you in and the animation of the wildlife in reaction to the nature around , when i lets say play AC origins/oddessy i just get a fake and bored sense from the world around me.

So yeah i call that kind of attention for the open world unseen and in this case new and innovating because it adds so much small things to make it feel more alive

Not so surprising. ;)

I can't wait to start this game!
