Forums - General - Scientology on the news again, Anonymous owned them again

http://lisatrust.freewinds.cx/scientology/snow-white/index.html

Here you go. A link about the FBI raids on the church, where they found documents on infiltrating government agencies as well as documents on framing people who opposed them.

http://www.clambake.org/archive/disk/fairgame.htm

And a link that has the text of the policy with the "tricked, sued, lied to or destroyed" quote.

You don't have to be a former member to know they do something like charge money or forbid medication. On that note, I'm done with this thread forever.

Ok heres a few simple steps to get the information from the horses mouth (former members) STEP 1 click on page one of this thread and look for SSJ12's 2nd post it has a video of a man who was in Scientology got high up and spoke out about how they worked, STEP 2 Watch and actually listen to what is being said for a change, Step 3 if you need more just watch more interviews with former members on You Tube, or read articles on the web heres a couple of links to help you www.youtube.com and www.google.com

I can scarcely belive it.  You actually didn't look at what I typed huh? Why will you not simply admit that you have no access to the CoS's official policy, and that that policy is the exact opposite of your allegations?

Read what I've been typing.  I haven't once tried to argue that the CoS is a reputable organisation, or that the religion is in any way reasonable.  All I've said is that they have rights like everyone else, and that Anonymous should observe due process.

This topic disgusts me in so many ways. COS is definately a bad thing, but looking at the posts of the people trying to destroy, it doesn't put them in such a great light either. It's just mob mentality.

You can find me on facebook as Markus Van Rijn, if you friend me just mention you're from VGchartz and who you are here.

Wow I tell you to go see official policy for yourself and you refuse, you're a winner... You can get the official policy from interviews with former memebers.

Thing is you've not shown one scrap of evidence or facts to back up your claim that Anonymous obsctructs due process... they're protesters, they've had peaceful protests to get the word out on Scientology, its up to the police to bring down the organization... Anonymous has been blamed for many threats on CoS, while some of those may come from real members just as many come from people who just hate the CoS, and as the CoS will always do they blame it on the public attackers (Anonymous) cause the only way to defend "their good name" is to make up stuff against an organization that has done nothing but exercise their right to speak out and also keeping their right to privacy, so I say you are the only one here who is obsctructing due rights.

So I can get the official policy from former members?  And your telling me that in a sit-down with a current high-level CoS official he would confirm what the former members you guys are linking too are saying?

Please.  CoS arn't going to make it that easy for you.  Their official policy is more along the lines of making the lives of their members more fulfilling, and being open to all  (everyone watch as one of the people bashing me turns my pointing out what their official policy is into "look he's a Scientologist, that was his opinion").

Are you telling me that you would consider it ok for people to protest against you based on nothing but hearsay and circumstantial evidence without revealing their identities?  When you make a public protest you cannot reasonably expect to maintain your right to privacy.  Personally, I find Anonymous members to be highly unbelievable BECAUSE they are not accountable for the opinions they produce.  It's like someone else in this thread said.  IF former members can give one-on-one television interviews chastising the Church without fearing "retribution," why the hell is it necessary for Anonymous members to wear masks?

Okay then, what the hell do you want? A high-level scientologist official coming and saying "yeah, we are evil, here is the proof, now arrest me"? I can't freakin believe you ignored all proof.

If you don't want to look it's fine. People like you are not worth discussing, as you see everyone just gave up on opering your eyes.

Whats the most pathetic about this is that he is so stubborn and refuses to look at  this shit. People just give up on his ignorance and his arrogance thinks he won the argument.

Hey starcraft can you prove the holocaust actually happened? I want you to get Hitler to come to my house and tell me he tried exterminating Jews.

The diary of Anne Frank doesn't count because it's an ex-member of a concentration camp. All of the sites that describe it don't count either because they weren't there. Auschwitz doesn't count either because there is no evidence that they used those chambers as a furnace to burn those people.

Lol, this must just be in canada, so far in the last month the only big religious news we've had was the news about the polygamist mormon sect. (they had sex with kids!)

And that's the only thing I need is *this*. I don't need this or this. Just this PS4... And this gaming PC. - The PS4 and the Gaming PC and that's all I need... And this Xbox 360. - The PS4, the Gaming PC, and the Xbox 360, and that's all I need... And these PS3's. - The PS4, and these PS3's, and the Gaming PC, and the Xbox 360... And this Nintendo DS. - The PS4, this Xbox 360, and the Gaming PC, and the PS3's, and that's all *I* need. And that's *all* I need too. I don't need one other thing, not one... I need this. - The Gaming PC and PS4, and Xbox 360, and thePS3's . Well what are you looking at? What do you think I'm some kind of a jerk or something! - And this. That's all I need.

Obligatory dick measuring Gaming Laptop Specs: Sager NP8270-GTX: 17.3" FULL HD (1920X1080) LED Matte LC, nVIDIA GeForce GTX 780M, Intel Core i7-4700MQ, 16GB (2x8GB) DDR3, 750GB SATA II 3GB/s 7,200 RPM Hard Drive

Listen guys.  Your the ones that said it was their official policy.  You could have said it was their in-practice policy.  You could have said it was their de facto policy.  But instead, you made up some bull about murder and extortion being part of the CoS's official policy, which is exactly the kind of defamatory and unproven comments I was complaining Anonymous made.

I looked at every link you provided and repeatededly agreed with how dodgy the CoS is.  But you refuse to see that, or acknowledge that I'm not arguing about the CoS's morality.  For some reason you seem to be against what I consider the fundamental right of human beings to be presumed innocent until proven guilty.

Oh and Pooper, have you ever heard of Nuremburg?  The Nazi's were actually given a trial, have the CoS got one?  Or is it still just a bunch of people too gutless to show their faces running around screaming "guilty, GUILTY?"

Will everyone cut all of this crap! Seriously, at this point Scientology as a religion has gotten so much negative press that I'm sure that many potential converts have been driven off by the people around them. We are all entitled to our opinions but to force it upon people in the manner we are is border-line fascist. If someone on this very day wants to be a Scientologists that's their decision and living in the world we do I'm sure they have heard most of the things we have. It's gotten to the point where it is common knowledge so everyone, stop being elitist pricks and realize that people can decide for themselves just the way many of us chose to be Christians, Muslims, Jewish or any religion for that matter.
