I know you can't do it right now. But how do you convert it?

I don't have a Mac, what is my best option here?

What format are you looking to convert .mkv to?  And are you okay with losing one of the audio streams?

If your looking to convert from .mkv to divx or xvid then use virtualdub and choose full stream processing and choose xvid.

 I am not picking as to what format to convert to, as long as it works on PS3, so MP4 or Divx are both fine. and I don't mind losing one (or all but one) audio streams.

 Pretty much the reason I want to do it is that I have some HD video (720P), and I want it to play on my new HD TV.

 @Mistershine. Thanks, but it doesn't work for it, it couldn't recognize the mkv file at all.
