Square Enix themselves have taken a noticeable liking to Lightning. Would not be shocked if she was used a reference.

I hated lightning and do not understand the obsession enix and others have with the character. Don't like the personality and dont like the looks.

That was really cool, it's like Cyberpunk combined with Nier Automata. If it ever became a game, I think Platinum would do a great work with it.
