Square-Enix new trademark

Square-Enix has registered a new trademark…and this one may actually relate to Nintendo. The name ‘Crystal Core’ has been trademarked, but no official platform was mentioned. Whenever a Square-Enix title with the word ‘Crystal’ pops up, I automatically think Nintendo. We will most likely find out what this trademark is for in the coming weeks.

More Final Fantasy spin-off poop for the Wii...?

Well, I guess some support is better than none if so though I suspect the DS may be the most likely recipient of any SE games coming to a Nintendo platform.

what's next? crisis crystal or Crystal Fantasy perhaps? (wishes for some Secret of series).

Erm, it was never the "Secret of" series.  It was Mana (Seiken Densetsu) and Evermore (developed by Square USA, not Japanese Square).

Probably dealing with their Crystal Engine. (Everyone seems to be going on and on about graphics engine these days.)

to which they are probably renaming it (again) to Crystal Core.

Or it could be the DS counter part to FFCC Wii.

Which by the way is more or less going to be a refresher pill after dealing with the gross monotony of the last 5 Final Fantasy main stream titles.

12 was a glorified dungeon crawler.

Either way some support is better than none, plus I'm looking forward to a FF character that doesn't look like Gackt, isn't emo, doest dress like a reject punk rocker who's just survived an explosion that left his lack of imagination black clothing in shreds... because it looks cool.

I'm just hoping hes not some Tidus reject bastard clone. ~ Opinion
