No comparison there, as the DLC doesn't intersect with the game (in fact it requires the game). It's very different from paying for an incomplete version.

$20 for 10 hours is better then many games giving less than 10 hours for $60 or even $40 for your GT5.

Ok, lets assume everything he is saying is true.

The complete GTAIV would mean all collectibles and everything. The missions etc that most people complete wouldn't be any more than 40 hours (about twice what it took me to finish Saint's Row's missions). So what this would mean is that you get another quarter of the game for a third of the price (assuming he is talking $US, if it's $AU then it is a sixth of the original price). By the time you have bought all the DLC for either 2/3 ($US) or 1/3 ($AU) the game's original cost, you have added 50% to the length of the game's storyline. Not bad at all.

AFAIK, the DLC is exclusive to 360, but R* are allowed to make different multi plat/PS3 DLC at a later date.

What's your source on that?  There has been no confirmation on that point at all to my knowledge.

Hopefully Rockstar or Microsoft releases something official about the DLC. 

I remember reading that as well.

They haven't said that they weren't, but they are able to make other Downloadable Content for the PS3.  I'm pretty sure I read that somewhere.

GTA online? Honestly both Halo and CoD will eat it for lunch. I just do not think that it will be really fun online.
