I have no animosity towards you... just your choice to brag about a console outselling another console while being more expensive and having less quaility software. I'd understand if Sony was paying you to do so...but otherwise it is just retarded from a consumer point of view. Logically you should be complaining about it...not praising it.

And last time I checked this is a free site...I can discuss what I want, when I want to. 

This threads purpose is not to brag but in case you havent noticed the 360 and ps3 have been in a battle for second place and uh since this is a sales discussion website we're allowed to talk about consoles outselling each other. I feel like my 1st post seems pretty positive for "doomed console."

Well, sure, but imagine what the same $100 price cut for the 360 would also do. It's not like pricecuts only work for Sony. Lets face it, Sony is still behind 360 by as much as the Wii was last year. If Sony wanted to catch up to 360, they'd basically have to constantly match or outdo Wii sales for the next solid year.

I agree the PS3 has been doing consistently better than the 360 since last christmas, which is why I say eventually, but I just don't see a few exclusives and a price drop as being enough to pull it up to Wii sales rates.
Something to keep in mind is that last generation, you basically had the same thing, but with PS2 in the lead and Nintendo was the one counting on exclusives to keep itself in the lead against the Xbox. Even with the NUMEROUS exclusives that Nintendo had and used, they ended up falling into last place. PS3 has even fewer iconic exclusives to work with right now, and are even farther behind than Nintendo was with the Gamecube.

Sure I think Sony has the potential to do it, but saying that a few exclusives and a price drop are going to be enough is being more than just optimistic.

I don't think GT5:P will be as big of a kicker in NA as you think.

MGS4 stands to offer a much bigger push for Sony in NA. But, we really need to realize that even though PS3 has been outselling 360 WW constantly, the rate of at which it is outselling the 360 is so small it would take quite a long time to pass.

I have always maintained that 360 would be passed WW by PS3 in late 2009, but, they definitely need to start outselling 360 at a higher rate to meet that goal.
