This doesn't leave much space for another price cut (the PS2 still costs £90). If this doesn't increase sales a lot more than it is doing now, then it is very disappointing for Microsoft. Price is no longer an issue.
The Arcade isn't even in the top 100 list of games and consoles sold on Amazon. I don't think any self respecting gamer takes that version of the 360, seriously and by the looks of it not even parents with kids....
For all intents an pruposes the 360 (premium is the same price as the Wii and not less)

X360 = 38-39m
PS3 = 34-35m
Prediction: The PS3 will surpass the 360 on weekly sales after it drops to $299 on all regular weeks (no big releases).

MS still has 150 pounds they can cut off the Elite. After that, the can bring back the 2 game bundle if they want. Maybe even a 2 game plus X-mote bundle for 150 :)
