Just checking in and seeing how the Wii is back to dominating the PS3 again.  What did they do, cut the prices?  Add more freebies?  Or is it just that nintendo magic ?

Lately? As opposed to....when?

It's amazing how far the wii can go. This was the real demand for the console, and the wii hasn't even had a price cut yet, has it?

What??? the fad came back from the grave??? J/K

In mexico Abril 30 is "Children´s Day" so there you go...

supply is catching up.

Well, for the past couple of months the PS3 was at 70% of the Wii's sales WW but I just check back in and.....am amazed to see the Wii doing even better than what is was doing.

I blame Wii Fit.

Nintendo have been producing the same amount of consoles for a while, haven't they? It would be about time for them to increase production.

There was also some rumour about them realising how they're going to easily reach the forecast for the financial year even with limited shipments, so they decided to hold back stock until the next financial year in order to make the statistics look nicer. Not sure if there's any truth in that one, though.

Good games hitting back to back: Smash just came out, and Mario Kart is upon us. I rarely play my other consoles. And with great games, there's unprecedented supply.

i don't think they've been producing the same amount. Many threads have shown Nintendo actually did step up production. They're most likely stocking up and the next couple weeks are gonna be big hitters because they want to compete against Gta4 so they'll be sending those units in.
