Why would Konami anounce a price drop or Ps3 slim?

Remember a Konami Online Rep said they have a very special surprise on Monday. Not Sony. So expect an MGS anouncement.

I also think it will be info on what MGO is going to contain :D

So it's a Konami announcement? Hmmmm.......it could be:

MGS1 on the PS Store

Home integration with MGS4

Something about MGO

MGS4 is being ported to the.............never mind.

It is monday, konami will say it? So it is late monday in Japan;.Where are they waiting for =p.

Well, if it's truly Konami the it is definitely for MGO, but if it's Sony then they could announce the GTA4 bundle for Europe .....

they are going to announce a MGS bluetooth headset. see kotaku for more info, it's offical.

Hopefully if it's from Konami, maybe it'll be an extension of the NA beta since apparently the Europe one lasts until June 6th while the NA one goes till May 6th?

Or maybe the release date on MGS4 has been pushed forward, that'd be too nice.

I want to remind you all about similar situation before.
Nintendo power supposedly announced "the big one" for one of the issues, turned out to be another game of "Tails of..." series, when people though about something way bigger than that....

Nah it could be a price cut for the PS3, because its leading up to GTA 4 launch. PS3 wants to increase the hardware weekly gap on the XBox 360.

I'd guess this the "special suprise" (or at least part of it) that they are talking about. I now doubt its a price drop or home as it's Konami, not Sony making this announcement.
