God of War 3 has been announced for 2009. Team ICO hasn't put out a game since 2005, so it's logical to assume that their next game will be announced at either E3 or TGS, with a mid to late '09 release planned. Star Ocean is pretty big in Japan, but yeah, the Getaway just sucks.

Heavy Rain is NOT just a tech demo, and they said at the very beginning that they were aiming for a Fall '08 release (and thus far nothing has surfaced signifying a change in plans, aside from the dropping of the PC and 360 latforms, which should have only sped up development).

Of course everything I typed was subjective, but there is certainly no longer a reasonable argument for those that believe the PS3's 2008 line-up blows away the 360's.

Lets examine the titles you just listed and their chances of being good.

Fable 2:  First game scored high, previews at and since GDC were all very good, innovative Co-op and AI.

Too Human:  New IP, could go either way.  Started out with poor previews a year ago, now they are all good.

Banjo Kazooie 3:  First two were AAA or close, this game is being made by the original team.

WKS:  Only limited information on this game.  Could go either way, repetitive looking combat (though that holds for all JRPG's).

Heavy Rain:  Know nothing, there has only been a tech demo.

Killzone 2:  The first game was a shocker, this game has faced fake movies, delays, rumours of mediocrity and budget blowouts. 

I find it odd that many of these games were listed as why the PS3's line-up was going to be "the best" in 2007, then (when they were delayed) the PS3's line-up was going to be "great" in 2008, and now these games are what will make 2009 so fantastic ...

 There's still a ton of games coming to the PS3 this year that are gonna rock.

you keep mentioning metacritics score

but any human with a brain that goes through the metacritics reviews, will see some UNknown websites which reviewed the game,,and there is a high possibility that MS moneyhats those unknown websites to do a bad review for competitors and good reviews for their games(unfortunately it's true ).Also their own bias plays a big deal on how they review the games,,and simce most of them are US based I can easily see how they do not like PS3 as of now(look at the 360 user base here). so their metacritics review means nothing to me .So stop with the metacritics as it does not do justice of how good a game is

The only website I accept is IGN and that's it ,,so we can argue about their reviews but not a bunch of website I ve never heard or know if they have even played the game or not.

There is just as high a possibility Sony moneyhats those sites.  Lets not forget Sony snuck DRM into CD's without telling people, and made laptop batteries that blow up.  Don't pretend they are ethically untouchable.

But I just want you to remember forever something you said here.
