Closer photos and comparisons for who may like. Unfortunately the stand and angles don't really compare the volume, but yes it seems massive near other consoles.

Astro's Playroom in the wild.

Polygon love it as well. They call it "the best pack-in game since Wii Sports".
Not that we've had many pack-in games since then but it does look like a lot of fun.

Pack-in games since 7th gen:
Wii Sports (pack-in with Wii)
Link's Crossbow Training (pack-in with Wii Zapper)
Kinect Adventures (pack-in with Kinect)
Face Raiders (pack-in with Nintendo 3DS)
Nintendo Land (pack-in with Wii U)
The Playroom (pack-in with PS4)
The Playroom VR (pack-in with PSVR)
Astro's Playroom (pack-in with PS5)

The joker in me wants to list Zelda BoTW as a pack-in for Switch since it had over 100% attach ratio for the first couple months =p

Nintendo should've just charged $360 for Switch and pre-installed BotW.
Better than Switch + 1-2-Switch for $350 that's for sure.

Yup, the controller is going to be something special as long as devs support it.

I imagine, at the very least, that whatever game Sony gets paid marketing for will include functionality. So there should be some stuff going forward, at the very least.

That's my guess as well. If Ubisoft's details on Watch Dogs: Legion is anything to go by, it will get 3rd party support to some extent at least (link): "Adaptive triggers enable players to enjoy hand-tuned responses, elevating the visceral feeling of high-tension moments."

Can't wait to try it myself.

Edit: DualSense seems to have strong 3rd party support: https://www.resetera.com/threads/dualsense™-ot-touch-your-dreams™.310117/

The strange part with ubisoft is that several games they confirmed RT for Xbox (even series S) but didn't for PS5. I guess it is just because of marketing deals with MS they focused more on the features for Series, but did we had videos or posts confirming RT for Legion and Valhalla?

Seems like stores have overshot their pre-orders.

One of a verified Activision dev states - "It's very intense, lol." This is for the power of the dual motor rumble.

Quite looking forward the new controller. I really like the HD rumble in the Switch controllers, this looks to be an evolution of that. This plus the adaptive triggers are going to make for a more immersive experience for sure! Horror games gonna be so good with this controller lol.

In 12 hours, PS5 pre-sold as many units in the US as PS4 did in 12 weeks. Damn.

Hopefully, it's just the marketing deal with Microsoft that prevents them from speaking about RT on PS5. Taking money to keep RT out of PS5 games would be a new low for Ubisoft

Horror games with DualSense, 3D audio and possibly PSVR2. Fuck.
