It will run natively on PS5 chuckles.... there isn't much difference between the PS3 and PS4 version of PS5 so I wouldn't expect anything noticeable on P5R on PS5.

It was already in 4K on PS4 Pro and PS5 through BC. So I imagine the only enhancements left would be the jump from 30fps to 60fps with faster load times. The only other difference is that it includes all the DLC on the PS5 sku.

As disappointing, and quite frankly misleading, as it is that The Last of Us Part 1 has no gameplay improvements, at least based on the leaked gameplay snippets, the fact that its getting a PC port makes the remake worth it. The remaster didn't age well graphically and it would be a massive downgrade compared to other PlayStation PC ports from a technical standpoint.

Still, the discourse surrounding this remake has been terrible since Jason Schreier leaked it, so I'm glad its going to be out the way and we can all then focus on God of War Ragnarok lol.

Yes I agree with all your points. It seems the main sticking point for quite a few people is the 70 dollar price point. The optics of it all has got to be concerning from a PR perspective. Even a 60 dollar price tag would have fared so much better for this remake.

Until the game releases and is proven that there were no upgrade on the mechanics I'll believe what is officially said that there are improvement on it to bring it closer to TLOU2.

Since i paid full price for Persona 5, I boycotted Persona 5 Royal not being a paid dlc to the base game.  After playing Persona 5 Strikers for free as a monthly ps+ game and enjoying it I finally decided to buy Royal premium edition when it was on sale for $17.  Beat it about 4 months ago and really enjoyed, it but yeah no chance I buying the ps5 version of Royal again.
