Quite nice, been watching videos and listening to music on it (didn't have the cash to buy a game yet, but I rented Final Fantasy Tactics PSP and GOD does it LAAAAAG :(   )

 

I remember that Sony had some way of playing Playstation 1 games on this, but IIRC that requires a PS3 (which I certainly cannot afford and *may* never own), but is there any *legit* way of playing some of the PS1 games I own on this? :o

 

I've already updated from 3.50 to 3.95 firmware, btw.

store.playstation.com allows you to buy PS1 games for your PSP.

No, no legit PS1 playing, unless it's released on the PS Store.

FFT is kinda laggy with the load times, but it's an awesome game.

I would recommend FFVII to you, it's full of win.

You don't have the bandwidth to do what? PS1 games are like 100-250mb.

You can also download demos from the PS store for a fair amount of games until you actually have the cash to get some.

On a side note, I am getting a PSP this week too because I got a $150 gamestop card for my birthday. Yay!

So there's no legit way I can play my PS1 games I already own on my PSP? :(

 

P.S. The store doesn't have anything I want anyways, I would like to play games like Xenogears, the original FFT (since it shouldn't have the slowdown),  and many other PS1 titles I got.
