SSBB doesn't have great art direction, it doesn't even have good art direction, BK3 is yet to be seen but in art direction its LPB or Okami wii.

Fable 2 doesn't compete at all, lol. the only 360 exclusive with a chance at taking top graphics would be gears of war 2, but KZ2 has pretty much already proved itself to be superior visually, but i'll be surprised if any game surpasses GT5:P.


Your definition of flamebait is far too liberal. Stop being so overly sensitive.

We have seen a trailer for BK3 that highlighted it's art direction.  It was excellent.

As for Fable 2, have you actually watched any of the videos yet?  Whilst I am still pondering the character modelling direction they have gone in, the environments are unparalled by anything I've seen on a console so far.

As for Gears of War 2, we haven't actually seen any gameplay trailers yet, or even any sanctioned screenshots, so I don't think Killzone 2 has "proved" anything.

How on earth did that ruin the thread?  It was a passing comment and valid observation, especially when taken in the realm of the graphics vs gameplay argument which has come in to particular focus this generation with the arrival of the Wii.

Which game did you think I was talking about anyway?

How do you think Banjo will have excellent art direction, when we don't even have a clue of what the game looks like?

As I said before, the original trailer showed the art direction they are going with.  It is largely a high-definition version of the original game's art direction.  Which means it's perfect!!!

I don't think I said anything about any 360 game's gameplay.  But I agree with your point about how good 360 game's gameplay is.

In fact, I didn't even specify which game with a poor gameplay history I was referring too.  Funny that you assumed it was a PS3 game...........

He wasn't bragging about the 360s gameplay. He was ragging on a series that historically plays like a mediocre shooter while looking pretty. There wasn't even an issue about it until you made a post. If anyone is in danger of ruining the thread it is you, and the people responding to you.

I think the new star wars game on PS3/360 is worthy of a mention,,Also if Prince of perisa comes out this year and has graphics better than Assasin's creed.(since both are developed by same dev team)

I don't know about Star Wars. I was always fairly skeptical about multiplatform game's graphics. Of course, Call of Duty 4 put my in my place a bit on that one.
