Motor Storm 2, Gran Turismo 5, Grid, and Naruto. Graphics whores are going to be totally satisfied in 2008.

 There is no way in hell GT5 is coming out in 2008. 

 However, with GT5:P + Damage Update, could make it into a contender.

Naruto looks so sweet, just like a cartoon. I am Loving LBP's art direction.

But from a technical stand point, its between Killzone 2, MGS4, GoW2 and R2.

If we didn't already pretty much know that FF XIII wouldn't be out til 2009 i would give them the crown...

But as it stands i would have to say MGS4, always loved the graphics of that series, even on the PS1

I'm not quite sure where to put MGS4, so I just through it in as #3. The character models are stunning, but the environments look rather bland in the screenshots. However, all reviewers that have played the game say it looks MUCH better when you actually play it, and herald it as the best looking game to date by far. I hope it would take the #2 spot, but I'm leaving it at #3 for now.

well are we even sure if fable 2 is coming out in 2008? i know its TBA 2008 but that seems pretty uncertain. i personally believe that it will be postponed.

but i'd also like to throw in GTAIV, as far as an artistry standpoint, world feeling, environment, etc. just like the first time you played GTAIII and it just felt "right." anybody else get what i'm trying to say?

Well I know my avatar will suggest some bias here, but come on, if by best graphics you mean the game which contains the most realistic visual depiction of its subject matter then surely GT5P has already won. I don't see how the addition of damage will make the cars LOOK any more realistic, damage makes their behaviour and interaction more realistic. If any of these games people are mentioning look better than GT5P, even Killzone 2, I'll be astounded.
