Coolestguyever! You forgot to mention our "fly by the seat of our pants" attitudes, and our huge American penises!

I think of cheap, but poor medical service, low religious tolerance, and hazardous military. I know the last part cause my dad has a friend who was in military service in Canada, and one of his biggest complaints was that the quality of their equipment was just generally more hazardous for the Canadian military than what the US military had to work with. Though I'm also aware that the rest is probably localized areas/situations.

On the less serious note, i think about dudley do right say "Ya Hosers, that's what hockey's all aboot, ey?"

Well when I think of America...I think of:

- Faked moon landing

- Beaten to space by russia (sputnik)

- Beaten in 'Nam

- Having a president who is a terrorist (George Bush)

- Melting Pot, no respect for other cultures

- Crime (would you open your wallet in New York City?)

- Pollution

- Coca Cola (the best thing to come out of America)

- The Ramones (best band out of America)

- No free health care

- Hated by most countries

damn, you just got served.

The only person who got served is the one who thinks there was a need to serve someone.

-50 respect points for believing that ridiculous crap.  Half of the stuff you listed could be turned around.  The US won WWI and WWII, so pick your war.  Crime is more of a local thing, and in some places (like where I live) is almost nonexistant.  Some people could view a lack of free health care as a good thing, pointing to the fact that competition creates better conditions for consumers (I honestly don't care about the issue much).  Pollution is also dependent on the local area, and overall the US now has some relatively tight pollution laws compared to other large countries.

I consider Canadians like Americans except for French Canadians. That Canada is more laid back and such than the US.

 - The US had very little to do with WW1. And since World War 2, you have lost both the Korean and Vietnam wars.

- The people who call the lack of free health care a good thing are the people who will never need it, and only
really care about number one. And competition creates better conditions than comsumers? You do realise that a) Socialist health care systems are (in general) rated way much higher then the US's health care system. and b) The US actually has a lower rated health care system then that of Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Morocco, Dominica, Irael, Chile and Colombia.

- The USoA has one of the worst pollution policies in the whole of the Western world. You say "other large
countries" by that, I assume you mean China and India. And, yeah, you're right... but their populations much
greater than yours, and they're developing at a much faster rate than USoA. And let's not forget the little saying
"two wrongs don't make a right".

"two wrongs don't make a right".

1) You can't win a war when you're only playing defense, so of course that was lost. Even then it wasn't our military that lost it, it was media that lost those wars.

2) If there are three things government has ALWAYS sucked in, it is response time, cost maintanence and taking responsibility for liabilities. Now you're telling me that you want your hospitals to suck in these areas as well? Hate to break it to you, but if the government is funding it, that's how hospitals are going to be run. If I put shit on a plate and told you it was free, that wouldn't make it edible, and giving it a high rating wouldn't change that.

3) We may have one of the worst policies, but we actually FOLLOW it 90% of the time. On top of that, people have lost a grip on what actually constitutes pollution. Environmentalists are so hyped up on their own self importance that they're willing to point to any possible chemical they can find as a problem in order to justify their own continued existence to the world. I'm willing to bet that if America's Policies are only half as stringent as other countries, they're still 95% as effective when it comes down to real world results.

If there are any more arguments that have nothing to do with Canada I may just ban the people arguing.

DON'T GO OFF TOPIC!

Eh I'm a little irritated by the "melting pot no respect for cultures" thing the guy said. Are you kidding me?

That was an incredibly narrow minded comment.

Edit: oops sorry montana

 Canada is great. But cold.
