Also, I am in the belief that all relationships, whether straight, gay, bi, etc. are all a choice. I don't come out of my mother's womb thinking oh hey, I wanna marry a chick or I feel like getting with a dude. There is no attraction for other people that lasts individuals their entire lives, so is that a by birth thing or do they chose to be alone? There are elements that go into it that can factor in such as genetic deficiencies (but there is no 'gay' gene) and environment, but for the most part it is up to you who you want to be with.

Dont want to be disrespectful but you cant control who you´re attracted to ofcourse. Thats why things like Pansexual and Bisexual are labeled now they cant control who they like nor can you look at any woman or any woman look at you and force yourself to be attracted to her. Again I mean no offense with this.

I understand completely, I just tend to be consistent when it comes to relationships and say everything is a choice. I wont refute there are some elements to it that are hard to ignore, but at the end of the day you can imbrace what you want. I don't have any issue with it and your statement is entirely fair, I just see these points like well people are born gay, and there is so much more to it so to brush it off as some sort of natural oddity is doing it a disservice, at least to me.

I wont argue that things differentiate on the bigger scale, and I respect your comment completely, I just thought I'd shed my two cents.

Interesting meme I stumbled across today. But I will edit and bullet point it to make it a little less toxic and confrontational to adhere to forum rules.

Imagine walking into a Supermarket, but every checkout attendant had a different religion.
* Sorry, I can't sell you those Condoms because I am Catholic. - You will need to go to Register 5.
* Sorry, I can't sell you that Ham because I am Muslim. - You will have to go to Register 8.
* Sorry, I can't sell you that Coke because I am Mormon. - You will have to go to Register 2.
* Sorry, I can't sell you that Birthday Card because I am a Jehova Witness. - Maybe try Register 4.
* Welcome! I can sell you everything, I am LGBT who believes in equality and fair treatment of others who doesn't hide behind religion.

Comes a point where you need to push your religious indoctrination aside and just do your job.

You realize Christians are entirely fine with selling condoms and pre-conception pills right? Christians only really have a problem with abortion and post conception pills, mostly because we see the process of human life starting at conception, the point where EVERYONE starts at.

This so called 'meme' is just failed labeling by people who think they understand the beliefs of everyone in said religion.

World Hunger solved, world poverty solved and world health problem solved.

Thats the only problem we have now.

A gay cake.

There are around 2 billion Christians on the planet.
Many of them are pro-choice. And many of them do have a problem selling condoms.
There was a catholic ban on condoms up till 2010.

https://www.google.com/search?q=christian+refuses+to+sell+condoms&ei=zGUZW7T9EoO-jwSRvY3IDQ&start=20&sa=N&biw=1920&bih=949

Doing a google search, you can find people asking if condoms are moral, you can find people saying that condoms are not moral at all.

Okay. Most terrorism worldwide is performed by Islamic extremists, but I wont go running around saying all Muslims are terrorists. Some Christians believe condoms are evil, but they're thinking in a pre-HIV mindset where sex was a marriage thing or they've never experienced the hardship itself. These Christians don't speak for me or anyone else, so to use this point and try to hurl it against someone it has no effect on really doesn't accomplish anything here.

I have never heard of a Christian being against contraception, not in any significant way. The only time I hear about it is when they are forced to pay for it through taxes. Government funded abortions and whatnot, which I can understand and agree with. Not from any moral or religious standpoint, I’m against the welfare state. Buy your own shit, we’re 20 trillion dollars in debt as a nation. We are not your fetus’ father, it’s not our responsibility. Go fall down some stairs.

You do understand it's not about the cake? It's about discrimination.

I got a notification but I’m still new and don’t know how to check it lol. Sorry to whoever sent me something.

I wasn't there of course, but an article that someone linked to in this thread says that this was indeed the case. I quote from the article (my own emphasis):

"Phillips’s attorneys pointed out that he even offered to provide other kinds of cakes, brownies, or cookies to Craig and Mullins — showing that the issue was not that the men are gay. But he did refuse all wedding cakes to the couple, including cakes that were made for other customers before and a “nondescript” cake "

Again, I've seen things that say otherwise and I'm likely to believe them considering that this was overturned in supreme court. If he completely denied service, he would have lost.

The supreme court ruling only dealt with wether the baker had been treated unfairly by the Colorado Civil Rights Commission, they didn't overrule it based on the legality of his actions (they specifically avoided dealing with that issue). My source also doesn't state that he completely denied service, just that he completely denied wedding cakes (of any design). Do you have any sources that back up what you're saying?

So atheist bakers won't have to make Christian cakes either? This is flagrantly unconstitutional and an awful precedent to set.

They cannot deny a Christian a sale of a cake on the basis that they're Christian, but they're not required to decorate a cake with Christian symbolism. This isn't new. This is how it has been for the last 50 years. The reason why you don't hear about atheist bakers not baking Christian cakes is because it would be a terrible idea from a business sense. They would lose a large demographic and they would go out of business. That is the beauty of the free market. A business owner can be as bigoted as they want, but it would reflect badly on them so it is in their best interest not to.

Seriously, RBG needs to retire. These judges are not here to make laws.
