Wow, you are on fire today ;) This I am really looking forward to. Curious to know how many people here played (and finished!) the first CC on the GC. I thought it was a really impressive, and different game.

I didn't play through the whole game, I rented it, but I got into it, and I liked it. It was beautiful, and pretty fun to play in my opinion...I'm interested in a sequel...one that doesn't require GBAs to play multiplayer.

I got it and beat it (single player). While I did enjoy it, a few design changes could have made it much better IMHO. :)

I did find the level balancing way off. I played without a GBA - so no map (single player) - and levels were either very easy, or extremely hard. The first level/boss was REALLY hard - and I loved it.

There was also that level near the end of the game... that was wierd (like a village level). Never worked out what to do there (if anything), but it looked cool.

Loved the concept of "memories" with the final boss, and how they worked - really added something I thought. 

From last week famitsu article. Wii FFCC is totally different to GC version. No multiple play, no DS connectivity. Instead of, a deep story telling, an well-mature characters (compare to what we see in 06 E3 trailer). With full Wiimote control (of course the nunchuk).

You can expect a similar to FF main series title in Wii this time.

That trailer is soooo awesome. I can't wait to play this. Hope it's something like Kingdom Hearts. I think Square Enix did the right thing by changing the design of the game. Definitely something to look forward to.

Now that looks really good, I think this is the first time I've been tempted to get an FF game.

 If you thought that was the ff game that looked good enough to appeal to you, you must have missed other ones before haha

But yeah it looks very good, best looking Wii game so far? Couldn't tell cause little was shown, but what was looked good.
