And I'm telling you that you're simply wrong, and your knowledge of programming is limited at best.

Also, you need to shorten your signature significantly in compliance with the updated rules. http://vgchartz.com/forum/rules.php

Fine why don't you explain why I'm wrong.

Thanks for letting me know I will go shorten it now.

As far as I'm concerned, the Wii is closer to the PS360 then the PS2, but I don't see a reason in arguing. It's all up to your own opinion.

Anyway, I'm saying your wrong because the tools developers have available this gen are significantly better.

The 360's architecture is very similar to a PC, and thus much easier to get the most out of. The Wii's architecture is similar to the Gamecube, and easy to get the most out of as well. The only one that's slightly up in the air is the PS3, but my personal belief is that despite it being unlike anything else, Sony's internal dev tools that went to Gorilla Games for Killzone 2 will already be able to make the most of the system's potential.

Last generation the PS2 was extremely complex and difficult to develop for (admittedly this is somewhat similar to the PS3's situation) and the Gamecube was using some completely untested technology that was nothing like what developers worked with last generation. The Xbox admittedly was (like the 360) fairly easy to optimize because of its similarity to the PC.

I'm not getting into the larger argument about where the Wii stands compared to the PS2 and PS3/360. It's a bad argument in my mind. I feel what everyone should be asking is where the Wii stands between the PS3 and the original Xbox seeing as how the Xbox was the top graphics powerhouse last gen and PS3 is this gen. But that's just me.

What I want to add is regarding Wii games becomming the lead platform on multiplayer games. I just wanted to mention that for many games it isn't even a possibility because the Wii can't run the Unreal Engine 3 which is being used by a large majority of multiplatform titles now. Until the Wii can run the engine, which I know a licensee is trying to do, it's not going to be possible for most mutliplatform games to have the Wii as the lead platform. That's my two cents.

Yes , but not many developers have pushed the wii the way they pushed the 360. Not even nintendo imo have been pushing the wii. You also forget that some games could look better using 30fps which the wii hasn't yet used in one game. I would say it will take another year or two before the wii is pushed to the point where games run at 30fps , and sometimes have drops.

@Fazz: Wow, I forgot how awesome R&CF looks. O_O
