Looks very decent. I hope it can do over 1m in Japan.
Don't get your hopes up in that case, because it wont.

Why not? This isn't the PS3 it's being released on. It actually has a chance, since it's not on a console that's not completely dead and almost worthless in Japan.

Tales of Symphonia only sold like 700K in Japan(PS2 400,000 and GC 300,000 combined).  The GC version sold better in America and the PS2 version was made because the sales of the GC version in Japan were considered disappointing.

I've gotta agree with Riot. The Wii is in serious need of good RPGs. This is a very good and hyped RPG. And what's better is that it's Tales of Symphonia! The most popular Tales of game that has been released thus far. EVeryone enjoyed the story, and the characters. People are going to want to know what happens next so they will buy it and since the Wii reaches into a bigger crowd maybe some other people who haven't tried Tales of before or ToS will buy this. Also, Wii sales are much better than GC sales. The GC was in an RPG drought when ToS was released adn the same is happening with the Wii, I'm sure this will hit a million. Probably more. If not, it'llbe near a million and it might pick up later so it can hit a million.

Yes, the Wii has already proven that can move software in Japan. The Wii has an amazing attach rate in Japan and a large user base. Also, this is the first big AAA RPG being released this generation. For that reason, it should do great in Japan.

Wii fans for some reason always have low expectation for their software for some odd reason.

Thanks Soriku, that's a lot of good info you got there. For a moment I was scared shitless, cause it really seemed like they weren't gonna release ToS: DotNW in Europe, but thank god they were talking about another game.
