10 hours?! GoW did not take me 10 hours and I'm talking about the supposedly extended PC version.

not trying to be a fanboy, i enjoyed GeoW, but this sounds like it would be boring. I mean if you just go around killing things for 10 hours straight. Give me a little breathier with something different.

10 hours because I played on hardcore (medium difficulty first) and then went to insane (hardest difficulty). One of them did take me 10 hours. Im not even factoring awesome co-op play. Regardless, if you are on Xbox Live you would have been addicted to multiplayer for months.

There are driving levels, bosses, and unique levels where you dont just run and gun. This is not a generic FPS at all.
Im not Gears PR person, so just take it from a gamer since the 90s, who has played good games, that Gears of War was my game of the year in 2006 and the reason I bought a 360. Anyhow Metacritic score was 94 and it sold 5m worldwide. This game speaks for itself.

It's short. But IMO, Gears is the best shooter released on consoles this generation. The controls are spot-on, the pacing is perfect, and the game is just good old fashioned fun.

Gears of War is my favorite shooter. Gears 2 may have battles where you will engage up to a 100 enemies. For a 3rd person tactical shooter thats gonna be insane. Also adding in the destructible environments is a plus too.

At BEST those are CG's... at WORST they're concept art from the "Extras" menu..
Both would be considered "ingame", but you can guarantee thats not what Gears 2 will look like when you play.

i really want to no what they are going to do with online. i don't care about graphics and single player and co-op because i already no they will be amazing. I liked the first gears but it felt very repetiive online. round starts run for a gun have a short battle and do it over again, also there were very few gametypes

I was begining to wonder that myself Geb. These screens are indeed incredibly nice looking, but I am incredibly skeptical that this is how it will look while you play it. CG seems more likely to me, and it's still a very nice looking CG to say the least.

Yeah thats true. But regardless I dont think good graphics will be a issue with Gears. I'm hoping the co op see the most improvements. Co op is what I enjoyed most on Gears of War.
