Maybe we are on to different pages because, i wasn't talking bout the Ai, it was just talking about the handling, i agree with the dodgey Ai in GT5:P . Like if you spin out or what have you they just drive straight into you,

But what i was saying is that it isn't that easy to switch from a powerful all wheel drive to and powerful rear wheel. When in A class with traction control and all that, it doesn't really allow for you to use them as brakes, if you do your car will swing side to soo violently. But im just talking about when at high speeds.
I agree as I said it's awesome in GT5p on your own. Like time trial. But it is harder t learn to drive different cars in F2 over GT5p. GT5p just seems more accessable to everyone. Thats why you get comments like Forza 2 is to hard to turn. Thats because if you lock up even slightly in Forza 2 you have to know hoew to bring it back right.(like in real life). It's easier to save it in GT5p. As a Racing sim fan, I just pointed out why F2 is better. As a graphical show, and more arcadey fun in racing GT5p is better. It's choice.

Ok i believe we have come to agreement, i guess ive just learnt to adapt to the 2 different game plays. I am kinda dissappoints that GT5:P Does have turn off ABS. Either way you look at it, there both fairly amazing games :)

Edit: What class are you up too?

gt5p... 1080p... uhhhhhhh

 1280 by 1080! WoW!!!

 :)

I wonder how Race driver: Grid will compare to these two games both graphically and as a simulation.

Will be interesting to see what hardware it takes to run it at 1920/1080 on my 53"!

 :)

Tease.

I've not played GT5P but if it's as samey as GT4 or 3 then Forza 2 pisses over it guaranteed, it's through playing Forza I've come to realise how Arcadey GT is and always has been. That of course is no bad thing but if you wanna talk about Arcade racers, PGR4 destroys all on that front. The GT series hasn't progressed since the 2nd game on the PS1 which remains the best of the series!

Gran Turismo is losing itself amongst the new generations of racers.

i dont really believe that. i think other games have newer features but GT still takes what they have to the limit. i bet Grid will be really good looking and stuff but i doubt it will have as real a feel as GT. just my opinion, well have to see.

I would have to say that GT5P is the best.

I dont own myself, my mates got it. So I obviously play on his game. I love playing it to show people how far graphics have come. I cant remember what class hes actually up to this minute, but he's got the Ferrari f1. It's awesome driving that thing.

i played forza 2, i hated it, i thought pgr4 was soo much better, so i got that instead. gt:5p feels and looks so much better than pgr4 and forza 2 in my opinion. but i'm severely biased towards to the gt series, so my opinion may be skewed lol.

PGR 3 in my opinion is better than PGR 4 and Forza 2. These days you can pick up PGR 3 for practically nothing. But comparing GT 5 to Forza 2 is such an unfair comparison its like comparing chocolate with cabbage.

to any of you guys who have played both games, which is better?

i played forza a few times at my friends house, and i didnt really like it. the turning was gay.

i heard gt5p was amazing. has anyone played this? is it better than forza?

The turning should be "gay".  It should be with GT5P too... since they are simulation games and not arcade games the turning is supposed to be hard and take a lot of skill.... ask anyone who owns a high performance car and drives it around a track, it's a real bitch when you hit those curves that takes a lot of practice.
