At least this is extra evidence that UE4 on Nintendo Switch isn't out of date. A few have commented on the assumption that the engine on the Switch is not up to date when in fact its using the latest version. Even Unreal's website promoted the use of the latest version of UE4.17 to developers.

I don't think so.
The localization work usually takes a long time to do, but considering they're be porting the game from the PS4 version, which will have already been translated long before the Switch version comes out, I don't see the porting process taking over a year to achieve. Unless the issues they have with the engine are more severe than we think.
But hey, it's supposed to be a game that's really not demanding, so there shouldn't be any issues. Paraphrased from one of our resident would-be game developer.
