Sony should move PSX to early during the year. quite simply it has no business being that late because if you remember last year it was pretty disappointing because we just had nothing to show for. and for those saying "oh its a fan event only" no it isn't the first one had a decent amount of announcements and it has a Keynote.

move it to the dry season

first half of the year is Januray to June. June is the cut off. thats 6 months. after June 1st its the start of the 2nd half of the year

First half of the year = January 1st to July 1st - 182 days

Second half of the year = July 2nd to December 31st - 183 days
