Honestly PS4/Xbone just never seemed exciting or appealing to me. Early in the gen I was able to just play the 360 version of a lot of their games, and even now that support for last gen's been dropped, I feel like I can still fill the same niche with 360 games I missed. For instance, Witcher 3 looks cool, but I never played Witcher 2 on 360, so I'll just play that instead.

Between Switch and all my retro consoles, I simply don't need a PS4/Xbone/PC.

I see, if the exclusives on PS4X1 didn't please you for sure you would have no need to their games... I just find hard not to buy PS4 because I really like the exclusives... but you did buy WiiU for the must haves Nintendo titles on it right?

I did buy a Wii U, but I kinda wish I didn't. I got nowhere near as much out of it as I'd hoped, and if I knew then what I know now, I would've skipped it and just held out for the Switch to play games like Tropical Freeze, Mario Kart 8, Bayonetta 2, etc.

I feel sorry that you didn’t enjoy as much as you would like. Well doesn’t seem like that will be a problem on Switch.

Azzanation: "PS5 wouldn't sold out at launch without scalpers."

Not sure what you were trying to imply. But sure I can only play Sony 1st parties on a Sony console, so I buy their consoles.

Exactly, so you just contradicted yourself about graphic because Xbox 1 X is the best choice for 4K gaming out there, ps4 pro power is nothing compare to it. Well done

The PC makes the Xbox One X look like a calculator.
4k? Please. PC can exceed that, by several multiples.

If a same game on ps4 and xbox 1, what will you play? Heh, so many third party games on Xbox 1 X have better resolution and performance:

<SNIP>

Yeah, i though as long as it have better graphic, you will get it?

There is more to the system than just resolution and performance.

* You have cost. - Xbox One X is more expensive.

* Controllers. - Personal preference, some people prefer Symmetrical analogue sticks, some prefer Asymmetrical. My preference depends on the type of game personally. Fighters = Symmetrical, FPS = Asymmetrical.

* Online network. - Xbox has the advantage here no doubt.

* Amount of games. - Playstation 4 wins with an 18.5% larger library.

* Number of exclusives. - Playstation 4 wins hands down. Can't even remember the last Xbox One exclusive, games on PC don't count.

* Other features like Hard Drive support, Media support and so on can fall in favor of either console. I.E. Internal up-gradable drives in the Playstation 4, 4k Blu-Ray on the Xbox One.

In short, if you own either an Xbox One X or Playstation 4, you would have certainly weighed up the Pro's and Con's of each platform and made an appropriate purchasing decision the meets your own needs/wants and desires. - Thus there is no wrong purchasing choice.

Good, so if you teach us how to play Zelda, Fire Emblem, Super Smash Bros, Xenoblade, Bayonetta 2+3 and others on X1X /PS4 Pro we'll gladly buy it

That wasn't his question or point. It was strictly that the graphics doesn't improve the enjoyment. Glad we cleared your pointless attacks.

Considering that the main benefit the Xbox One X brings over the Playstation 4 Pro is resolution... Not everyone is going to actually care if it's the technically superior platform.
Heck, people were proclaiming how amazing Uncharted was last generation visually despite it being rendered at only 720P~. And yet... PC had 4k back in 2001 during the PS2's reign and you didn't see console games magically jump ship.

In the end... The Xbox One X isn't providing visual a generation ahead of the Pro. A purchaser of either platform would likely be happy with either purchase.

That depends. Graphics can increase immersion which results in an increase in enjoyment.

Unless I’m totally crazy a gaming PC + Doom or a Scorpio + Doom is more expensive than Doom on the Switch he already owns.

I have a spare PC that dates back to the Wii era. It can run Doom better than the Switch. How many console generations has Nintendo gone through? ;)

Those platform costs are cumulative.

I also have psp, vita, ps2 but never bring Sony flaws/weakness here or anywhere to bash on them unless some Sony fans are trying to talk nonsense about Nin. Many series on Nin systems especially Xenoblade and Fire Emblem are my favorite so i won't just stand there and do nothing. However, if it is something reasonable, then i can agree and won't try to argue with that person. That is all things i can say

You are so confuse. What point are you trying to make? You accuse me of fanboyism and not having a HW, then go to say you have then but will only bash if someone attack Nintendo...

There is no attack to Nintendo on this, you are the one attacking and saying non-sense. As VGP said, don't take criticism to companies are an attack to you that you fight back by doing personal attacks.

Have I said Switch is bad or any Nintendo game is bad on this thread???

Who bashed Switch price and it's graphic in this thread? I must wonder

Is that PC a portable? Does it have Xenoblade 2/Fire Emblem/Super Smash Bros 2018/Bayonetta 3/SMT V/NMH Travis Strike Again? How many console generations has Sony/MS gone through? :)))

They are nowhere near close to high end pc

No it is not portable. Put Portable PC's exist if that is what you desire.
Some older notebooks also allow for upgrade-able MXM GPU's as well.

As for all those games... I know you are trying to be smart and everything... But... The PC will get them all, it's only a matter of when, not if.
And it will look and play better than the original. ;)

But the real question is... Will the Switch get PC exclusives like StarCitizen, Civilization, StarCraft, Company of Heroes, Age of Empires, Total War, Anno, Settlers, Quake, Unreal Tournament... The list goes on?

Checkmate.

But why are we buying consoles based on what it will get? I prefer to do it based on what it already has, and the PC doesn't have those games.

Are you saying you have never bought a Nintendo console for the next Pokemon game?
Or the latest Xbox for the latest Halo?

They are factors in purchasing decisions.

Either way, the PC gets all of Nintendo exclusives, whether Nintendo likes it or not.

Actually, no I haven't. The only console I got at launch was the PS4, and that was mainly because I wanted to experience that just once in my lifetime, it's not something I will do again.

Personally I’d rather have an official and legit release of a game fully supported by the developers over the potential to maybe one day be able to play the game on an emulator not supported by Nintendo with no idea how buggy it will be or how well controller support will be and whether or not features like online play work well or at all just so the game may might maybe look a little better.

It reminds me of that Jim Gaffigan sketch about the guy who waited years to finally see Heat.

“Hey you guys see that movie Heat??”
“Yeah... like 15 years ago.”
“But I wanna talk about it nooooow”
“No.... get away, weirdo.”

More power to you if the PC eventually gets an emulator to play the Switch titles. It doesn’t take anything away from the ability to play them right now.
