Forums - Nintendo - mario kart wii brings out the cheaters

I couldn't care less about time trials.  People that spend all their time playing by themselves trying to get better times are lame anyway.  ^_^

so you mean Austrians are moving in in full force? No surprise since it launched there already. Rol, I blame you!!!

Nonsense, I don't cheat. I am as honorable as a player can get.

A player with a Kim Possible avatar maybe...

That doesn't sound too bad so far. As long as its just people exploiting one level.

That's really cool though about the time trials. So there's global rankings, and everyone can see your replay? That's really neat, I really like that idea a lot.

Here's hoping the cheating doesn't get any worse.

This only matters with racing games such as GT5 where cheaters were able to bounce off walls to get better times and other racing games. People spend alot of time trying to increase there time and it's just annoying.

Yeah right, thats where all your FZero times come from as well right?

Anyways, I reported your post since it is so much full of troll. Austrians and not cheating - c'mon Rol, you better admit.

heh, I'm laughing and I've never even played this game. I think leaderboards are kind of stupid unless they're reset a lot because instead of showing the people who play the most out of everybody, they can show the people who can be more dedicated to the game in a short period. For example, I liked to play in Counter-Strike servers where the ranks were reset every week or every month because ranks could actually be worth something a little bit more than a "I've played in here longer than any of you!" type of thing.
