Totes, breh. I mean, they’re practically the same game.

You know thats not what I mean. Just saying that some sites where so impressed by the god of war preview, wich the embargo lifted with the release of sea of thieves, that in comparacion sea of thieves looked underwhelming.

Oh no, we got it. God of War is such an unprecedented masterpiece of a demo that it has destroyed and broken critics across the world. I hope Far Cry 5 isn’t ruined for them tooo :(

But you also have to take into account that no mans sky was $40 and done by an indy team of 20 people. This is done by rare and cost $60 and has Microtransactions. 

Weren’t they a team of 10 people or less? Maybe I’m remembering that wrong...

I know what you mean. Idt it necessarily took steam from SoT, but I think it generally took a little steam from the XBO, since SoT was one of its most anticipated 2018 exclusives, and almost universally glowing GoW previews came out the day before SoT’s release. And I feel Sony planned the GoW preview embargo very intentionally.

Jack of many trades, master of none. Sea of Thieves has a beautiful, wide ocean to explore. It's too bad that it feels about as deep as a puddle.
