I just want to know what you guys  think about PS3's WW sale number after a  world wide $100/pound/euro price reduction?

right now it's about 180,000 units/week

after price cut i think it will settle around

240,000 units

(assuming it's not in December)

so what do you think it will be?

right after the price drop.  i would predict whatever was in stock.

If its a world wide price cut.

around 300k

Good jump the first weeks obviously around 300k and then back down to 220 - 250k.

The week after said price drop, it could go to 450-500k assuming it's worldwide, 100 dollars, pounds, and Euros.

Then it could easily settle in the 250-350k area.

We'll know sometime next year when it actually gets a $100 price drop. Best you'll see this year is $50 MAX.

I think that would have a temporary bump (2 mo) is sells and then settle back to they are now. Granted that depends on how close to the holiday season it is implemented.

the price and the likes of GTA MGS4 GT5P will maintain sales well.  If it can do 180k on not one killer game, a few top games and high sales are easy.
