I see no point in it and wouldn't change my buy from PS4 for it =p

It's not for everyone though

It's just a part of the added incentive to purchase the PC version on Steam. Just like how there will be a separate incentive to buy it from the Windows Store (god knows why). Though the Steam version is already receiving more costume content anyway. 

I doubt this one costume it going to get a lot of PS4 only's to drop their current version for this version of the game. It's really targeted towards HL PC players.

Definitely the last sentence. I've never played HL so ImI not fussed about missing it.

It is added value, that isn't expensive for Square Enix to make .

I wasn't being sarcastic, I agreed that some sales will be earn because of the bonus, even though for me it's useless I can see the value added for SE doing it and for fans to buy.

Yeah, that's why it's geared towards those that have played the HL series (and because it's releasing on Steam).

It'll likely net some, but the majority of sales on PC will be due to the fact that it's coming, as well as the game being given enhancements/tech/mods support (also no Denuvo DRM).
