Yesterday the Error 80010514 happened to me

I have never seen one of those PS3 errors. -but I did have a much more fatal problem with my PS3, one day it just  froze and upon rebooting it decided it would not boot its OS anymore, so I had to get it replaced.

I have never seen an RROD in person. (although if I would have kept my march 06 360 that I sold in Jan 07, I probably would have seen one by now)

its actually true, but its very few, i saw that messege way back when i had resistance when i tried to get online that error came up but its never happend to me since!

i reckon for sure people will try to sift this up as much as possible.

just off the record i found this its quite interesting

i typed in "xbox 360 console faulty" in ebay = 71 items found for: xbox 360 console faulty

i typed in "playstation 3 console faulty" in ebay = 4 items found for: playstation 3 console faulty

This is like David vs. Goliath... the Error has nothing on the RROD.

Its like a fly hitting a windshield... why do people even try to compare the two. All it does is make PS3 fanboys think that Xbots are blowing this issue out of the water when in fact its PS3 fanboys who themselves bring up this crap.

The RROD is the biggest stain on a console in gaming history, no self respecting Xbox fanboy would even think of bringing it up.

We do have to credit Microsoft for spending their money to ease the pain though.

Comparing years of rrod to a recent ps3 error? Not to mention the extra 6 million+ 360's vs PS3, Yeah that makes sense LOL

I had a rrod on my 360 which is why I no longer own it or any games.  I bought it about a month after launch and it rrod shortly after.  I only had one game so I just sold it and the game after ms repaired it.  I'm not going to list all the rrod that i have seen happen to my friends (its alot) because then my post will lose all credibility.

I used to work for EBGames/Gamestop.. untill i got a better paying job.. yet when i was there we had 3 RRoD's and never saw to error for the ps3, and my ps3 never has had a problem.. never heard of the problem untill the other day.. i think someone screwed somethin up on there own.. human error is what that is called...

Don't think i've ever seen that error code. Oddly i've seen way more broken PS3's then 360's though. Like 2-3 times as many broken PS3s.

I've seen a RRoD on 1 of my friend's 360s. I haven't seen the error on anyone's PS3.
