Just really looking at this thread for the first time.

Wow, Monster Hunter World is only #8, but it is also out of stock.  Capcom may have underestimated the appeal of this game in NA.  I don't know how Monster Hunter World will do in NA or worldwide, but it has the potential to have that "break out of Japan" kind of appeal that Final Fantasy 7 had.  Maybe not quite that dramatic, but if the rest of the world can match Japan sales, it would still be a big deal.

Yeah the best source is npd themselves. I'm not sure why you'd stress obeo amazon when you can just wait for the results.
