Um no offense , but how does where your company started confirm what region(s) you target? That's like saying NA EU aren't going to buy the ps3/wii because they come from japan and won't have western targetted games. By what I've seen too the 360 has more japanese targetted games than both sony and nintendo. |
The Wii has dozens of Japanese targeted games. Where do you think games like Mario, Mario Party, Smash Bros, Mario Baseball, Zelda, and Mario Kart started out? Also, Wii Fit, Wii Sports, and Wii Play are Japanese targeted. They wouldn't have even made those games if they didn't think the Japanese would love them. Nintendo usually tries to appeal to the Japanese market 1st. Many of their series do well outside Japan.
OT: Maybe for the same reasons I don't like the 360 much. It is big, expensive, the games are expensive, it breaks too much, I never really liked the first Xbox. Also, the game selection is not too my taste. It needs more Platformers, more mini-games, more party games, more casual games, and games that are really different from PS2 games in gameplay (not just graphics).
All the 360 has going for it in Japan is some JRPGs. But JRPGs are also coming out for DS, PS2, Wii, and PSP so there is no need to buy a system just for a few RPGs.
