Onyxmeth said: You got banned after posting multiple topics on Wii petitions in the Nintendo forums. You don't recall each topic being locked either? Should I dredge them all up to show you?
And that has what to do with the discussion? I claimed attacking the Wii is tolerated on these forums and you say I proved that wasn't true with my Ban for supporting the Wii. How is my getting banned for promoting the Wii as oppossed to attacking it proof that people get banned for bad mouthing it as was your comeback? I don't see how this makes your argument.
Montana needed a reason to ban me, especially after my boast that I had never been banned, rudeness was the key factor and the petitions which both deeply irritated him and SSJ12 were merely a convenient vehicle to seal the deal. Had that really been the reason I would have been banned again when I tried to post a condensed list of the petitions afterwards which was locked as well.
Onyxmeth said: My second paragraph had nothing to do with you. It had to do with this site as a whole, where brash and insultive opinions rule the day. Using the word brash when concerning words written on an internet forum seems kind of excessive anyways. Do you really consider anything i've said to have any real consequences?
You're derailing and upsetting a thread that is otherwise productive, that is of consequence. You use nothing more than your opinion to justify railing the Wii out of the blue and its games to rain on the parade of people happy about the announcement of two new games. Again, you're lucky its the Wii you're attacking here, any other console and you would be banned or warned.
Onyxmeth said: There is no contradictory evidence to what I said.
I've already proved that quite incorrect.
Onyxmeth said: There is no contradictory evidence to what I said. The only thing contradictory would be if I owned any Wii games not published by Nintendo and still said what I said, which I don't. I own four Nintendo published games, don't feel any third party games warrant their current asking price, don't feel hype for any other third party game to warrant $50, and will buy two Treasure games off name recognition alone. That leaves my stance rock solid.
Actually yes there is, you seem to have mistaken my claim of contridiction for your initial statement and not your rationale there after. Your opinion was off topic, unwarranted and inflammatory.
Your stance is solid? I never questioned the validity of your inital claim just the pertinance of it in this discussion and what intent it was to have.
Onyxmeth said: I don't need to post a warning before my posts that the following paragraphs will contain only opinions and not things I deem as fact.
No one said you needed one, however it would be desired that you at least keep your opinions relevant to the topic and not transparent flamming. You're simply trying to dodge my allegations by simply pasting them on the parts of your discussion where they were never discussing.
Onyxmeth said: If you yourself thought the Wii had spectacular third party support, you wouldn't be our #1 source of petitions on these forums. |
I never challenged the fact the Wii didn't have good third party support, I merely questioned you bringing it up in this thread where it was irrelevant. Nice try though. Your motives are dubious. Notice that no one is running to your defense yet rather they're all hanging you out to dry.
Petitions also don't prove the Wii has poor third party support, just that certain games are desired for it. But that's neither here nor there, just to prove a point as to how irrelevant your reasoning is. Again, if you puting words in other people's mouths is all you have, then you make my own argument for me.
You sir have been owned. Fight it all you like, anyone with an inkling of common sense sees through your after-the-fact defense of your trolling. You got upset to see the Wii getting more support, felt the need to vent, and out of pride let this run until it was too much for you to handle. Now its all you can do just to dance this silly dance, hopeing beyond all hopes that you'll confuse me too much for this to continue. Oh, but you will try won't you? They all try.
