Well, yeah, I get it! I've beaten the whole trilogy and Bloodborne, so I'm pretty used to the Dark Souls frustration. I'm safe!

But with your response it seems you didn't get the joke.

I got it once you explained it to me. I'm slow at jokes XD.

In my opinion the N64 was not just the best console of the 5th gen but, to this day the best console ever created!

Fire Emblem and Octopath are the only things confirmed for this year though. If Nintendo is going to keep people interested in their console they need at least 5-6 new games with critical acclaim every year. Last year we got Zelda, Mario, Splatoon, Rabbids, and Xenoblade. There needs to always be something new and good on the horizon to keep social media talking about the Switch. The ports are great 3rd party support and exactly what Nintendo needs as the icing on their 1st party cake. Just don't forget the cake.

Of the games you mentioned only 3 of them were confirmed at the start of last year the rest were confirmed later on in the year around E3.

Odyssey, Xenoblade 2, Splatoon 2, and BotW were all in the Jan 2017 direct.

Read what I posted only 3 of them were fully confirmed at that point, XBC2 was just given a tba 2017 window not to mention Rabbids wasn't even announced at that point.

So we only got a mini-direct? I wonder if that means we'll get another Direct within a month or two. Some games were obviously missing and there was a disturbing lack of Nindies.

Anyway, really want Hyrule Warriors as it's a game I want to replay, and getting the previously 3DS-exclusive content is a plus. I never played The world ends with you so that's another buy.

I want Tropical Freeze to sell well but the same game with an added easy mode isn't enough for a double-dip.

Dark Souls (already have the PC version) and YS are maybe's.

XBC2 was confirmed for holiday 2017 on Nintendo's website from the start.

Holiday 2017 wasn't added until later on, in the original trailer in the presentation the was no release date or window given.

I checked Nintendo's website a day or two after the direct, and it was listed as holiday 2017. Trust me. I've been foaming at the mouth over Xenoblade 2 for a long looong time.
