1) I was just wondering what your view is on this because i was thinking about it and thought - 'If it went exclusive on PS3 would it increase in sales?'

'If it went exclusive on 360, PS3 owners would be angry and most likely sales would increase'

2) PS3 owners were angry at the DLC but MS payed Rockstar 50m for it, did MS waste 50m? and if Sony made the first move on GTA IV maybe PS Sales would increase.

At this point, being so near to release and after millions of dollars have been invested in making this title multiplatform, making it exclusive would be out of the question. That decision for either platform would be suicide for Rockstar and Take-Two, and there are millions of people from both platforms who would riot or boycott them for doing so. Also, I do feel MS wasted that $50 million on securing downloadable content for the 360. The PS3 is definitely not getting shafted (Home, PS3-only splitscreen multiplayer) and it isn't completely out of the question that the PS3 will receive DLC of its own down the line.

so do you think if they do get DLC in about 3 months or less then sales would increase? GTA IV will probably sell out in the first few hours and will continue too aswell.

it wouldn't be exclusive, simply because it would not bring the same amount of revenue to the developers and because of the money microsoft has payed and the loyal fanbase in the playstation area. it would simply be an outrage in either direction (sort of speaking).

I already pre-ordered it for 360. I have no reason to get into PS3 vs. 360 arguements about the game.

Releasing GTAIV for PS3 exclusively would put Rockstar and Take Two in financial ruin after Microsoft sues for the millions in damages they've faced for shelling out money for exclusive DLC and the amount of advertising they put towards the game. EA would be purchasing Take Two for next to nothing after that.

Actually, MS should have bought the exclusivity of the game. This could have killed the PS3 EVERYWHERE.

if this game was an exclusive for any of the consoles it will put an end to the console war for this generation...
