Fair enough, but the prospect has been started. The potential is now there, devs just need to jump on board even more than they are now.
One cannot deny however that Zelda is just as massive as Witcher 3 and Xenoblade has far deeper gameplay mechanics than FFXV. With even exclusives being on par gameplay wise, it is a huge leap in the right direction.
