Forums - Gaming - How is Assassins Creed for PS3?

I hate it when a game gets mixed reviews.  I am so afraid that I am missing out on a great experience but reviews aren't helping me to decide.

So all of you who have played the game on PS3 extensively, how is it?  Is it worth getting?  People say it is repetitive but is it a good kind of repetitive game?  Most games are repetitive but its fun so if Assassins Creed is a good repetitive game could you compare it to other PS3 games that you also thaught were good and repetitive.

I own it, it's pretty good, I haven't really experienced any problem at all

Why don't you rent the game and judge for yourself?

DMC 4 is a good repetitive game you backtrack through levels.

The reason I don't rent the game is because PS3 games aren't available for rent yet here in South Africa.

I rented it around Christmas time and got through the first 3 or 4 assassinations before I had to take it back. I'm now getting it through GameFly so I can finish it, but I was already very bored of it after the first 3-4 missions so I'm not sure if I'm going to enjoy the rest of the game's missions (apart from the actual assassinations themselves). Still, I will beat it to at least say that I finished it.

I've played through the whole game, and I think its really fun. I just like to assassinate a bunch of people on the streets and throw archers off of roofs though. =)
I'd definitely recommend it.
