Mate EA and Activision didn't bother with the Wii at first either and it went on to sell 100m I recall the same fad arguments back then if anything these two companies seem to be the omen for Nintendo platforms as the second they weren't supporting Nintendo had massive success, I can only assume you woke up today and randomly created this thread for what ever reason as after next year the will be people denying such threads ever existed much like with the Wii.

Just came in to see how big a necropost this was.
Then see the OP is 6 hours old.

/shake head sadly

to say 3rd party developers arn't interested is false information, which is the basis of the OP's point. Many 3rd party devs are showing interest but not to the point they're shipping over all their major IPs just yet.

EA chief financial officer Blake Jorgensen told the Wall Street Journal the publisher plans to wait until the console has been on the market a full year before deciding whether to make more games for it.

This is not the dead end response according to the OP, nor does Activision's refusal to comment on COD mean the publisheris drawing a line on the idea, exactly the opposite. Very few developers are willing or able to disclose information on this matter unless its a clear company plan and at this point in the Switch's lifespan, I don't think many devs were expecting this level of success after the WiiU.

When the PS5 is announced, you can bet that EA and other major devs will be on board from day zero, its a safe bet, The Switch was not a safe bet, but if sales continue, the opposite will (hopefully) become the case.

Yes, we can. Actually didn't turn out very well.

Switch success has people so shook, they're creating desperate, delusional threads.

So what do you expect will happen when Pokemon drops?

Many third parties are starting to say they will support the Switch and it's already showing and also Nintendo would have been fine without 3rd party because of the hybrid nature of their console and that they will be releasing most of their games on the Switch. Third party will of course help show "hardcore" gamers how great of a system the Switch is.

The fact that Switch will get 100% of Nintendo content ( instead of split between console and handheld like previous ) guarantees success alone. Third party is an added bonus

Who buys a switch for 3rd party anyway? Only its switch exclusive I could care less. I've got my ps4 for that. Give me more Nintendo exclusives and I'll be happy with that. Lol Nintendo will fail. Yea OK.

In this pool we see the love for 3rd parties that Nintendo gamers have... at least 40% of then don't think Switch will even need them.
