Kerotan, if this was the reverse and the Switch wasn't selling as well in Japan and the PS4 was that you would be praising it as "Switch just can't compete with the beast that is PS4", "people are buying PS4's instead of Switches", or something like that.

Just like how in a past thread you tried to say that the Switch all of a sudden isn't competing with PS4 apparently because it's a "hybrid" so it doesn't count according to you, which you'll only use when it suits your convenience because you again don't want to make the PS4 not look as good so you try to count the Switch out.

You're fine with posting stuff about how Sony is king and how "the train never stops" when they win something apparently, but you just don't like it this time because this time it's making your favorite console not look as good because Switch is beating it in Japan. Like, why on earth did this thread need to be created? Did people saying that in the MC thread really piss you off that much? You do the same thing with your Sony posts all the time, should other users start making threads about those? 

Also you created this thread to ask if people agree/disagree on it, but you called it a myth from the get-go, meaning that you're saying it was never true. So why create a thread if you didn't want actual discussion on it and only wanted it to be people that agree with you? 

And before you try to say i'm off topic somehow, it's too soon to tell imo on if Switch is 'eating PS4's sales'. Like you said, it could be from other reasons as to why the PS4 isn't selling as well in Japan currently. But to outright rule out that it could be from the fact that the Switch is selling so well as to why the PS4 might not be selling so well as a 'myth' immediately just shows bias on your part dude. It absolutely is an option, whether you like it or not. And as the Switch continues to get more PS4 multiplat games in Japan, and with Nintendo's first party games like Pokemon, Mario, etc it will just continue to get bigger. THEN we can probably definitively say that Switch is eating PS4's sales.

Shooting down different theories basically saying "agree with me or you're off topic"  are how the walls for an echo chamber are built, in which case the thread itself probably shouldn't have been created in the first place.

Yeah but how many posts have actually argued the actual topic? You can't have a discussion when the whole first page of the topic is just people trolling (and looking at FloatingWaffles' post, it looks like it's still going).

I looked at your first post and you did not talk about the actual topic at hand. You wanted him to go through hundreds of posts to find the actual posts of people who said that. I mean, come on.

People said stop, because this thread was an obvious attempt to gain reassurance from a different thread without any real proof. It's just petty. We just couldn't believe this was serious.

When his title is in quotations, it is implying that he is referencing a specific post. If the post in question does not exist, then there was no point at all for this prompt.

Lmao I love how Lawlight is saying people need to get moderated for taking this thread off topic... while literally taking this thread off topic by defending Kerotan to the last breath.

It really should not be so hard to have a constructive thread but when you constantly deny any answers but your own(without evidence might I add) is just an echo chamber. No hate towards any users, that is just the reality of what is happening.
