This is a misconception a lot of people get from the ending. Not all the protagonists die; only Noctis.

I didn't think I could dislike a FF more then 13 but this game came really really close.
For me World of Final Fantasy was way better this game.

I played it a year ago, and I'm still not sure what was going on in the story. I thought the gameplay itself was great though.

I didn't like it but I like Noctis a lot as a character.

I think the game was probably the worst FF game I've played (and I've played through the FFXIII series, which I think it's marginally better). Combat is shallow and repetitive, the open world is barebones, characters are annoying, plot is bad and obviously rushed, I couldn't feel any kind of emotions through the game because I wasn't able to sympathize with any character. When Noctis died, I was like... OK, well, farewell I guess.

SE must take a look into the past and see what actually make FF games great. What they're doing with the franchise is just a disgrace. Well, I can give them this: FFXIV is a great MMO game.

I liked it fine enough...while I was playing it.

With pretty much every final fantasy from 7 onwards, I've always wanted to load it up and play again after completing it. With FFXV I had no such feeling. I played it for 60 hours, got the platinum, but I really just never want to play it again.

Bought this game for PS4 and couldn't get into it. Tried it again when I got a PS4 Pro. Still couldn't fall in love with it. Needs a female party member.

I have tried to start FFXV 3 times and can't get passed the tutorials...  I literally HATE the battle system.  Can I just button mash and get through the game?

It's a decent game, polished, but that's the problem, FF shouldn't just be a decent game, it should be almost perfect, a leader in it's genre, the game has been cut, some parts of the game don't appear on it's map for some strange reason, I liked it, it's not a massive RPG, doesn't excel with it's dungeons, the battle system is ok but huge monsters have almost same weakness, square really needs to make a 10 out of 10 FF cos I tarted losing interest in the series that once was my favourite
