I had an orange one a while back. in fact I still have it, but the A button is worn and does not work right... the R trigger is messed up too.
Right now I have 3 cube controllers in great condition. 2 silver, 1 wavebird.
My bother who is still in HS has 3-4 usuable GC controllers also but only one of his is mint.
They actually had 3 copies of TTyD used, one had a messed up case, one had great case but no instructions, and one had instructions but only an OK case....
I took the instructions and put them in the great case : ). So basically it is a mint box and instructions. for 19.99, can't beat that.
End of 2009 Predictions (Set, January 1st 2009)
Wii- 72 million 3rd Year Peak, better slate of releases
360- 37 million Should trend down slightly after 3rd year peak
PS3- 29 million Sales should pick up next year, 3rd year peak and price cut
3 meter cable is all I need to hear to buy.
Now to wait for Nintendo to get aroun to shipping these across the pond, sigh...

2 years ago? You sure about that one? The GameCube was the current gen Nintendo console at the time, but GS told you they discontinued controllers?

Nice! One of my GC controllers has completely broken down (lol third party..), and another is showing some serious wear and tear (lol also third party..), so I wouldn't mind getting a few new ones. Hopefully they'll be available worldwide, completely compatible with everything on the Gamecube (=not made for Wii games only), and priced reasonably.

Why not make wavebirds. I really need one. I'm too much used to wireless to go back to the old Gamecube controllers now. Wow @ Paper Mario TYD. I've been looking for that game for a while now, but it's really scarce. It cost €40 2nd hands here, that's too much. |
Oh! I want! And a nice new white wavebird would rule!

This is like the opposite of the 360 getting Wii control. Wii owners wanting classic controls :P

Hey, almost half my Wii's library is GC games. 1st party controllers were very rare by the time I started buying all these used GC titles. And the 2m cord length on pretty much all GC contollers, 3rd party or 1st, is totally inadequate.
I want my quality GC controller with a 3m cord or wireless, and I want it now!

I went to Walmart, 2 GSes, KB toys, and Best Buy 2 year ago.. could not get a 1st party controller. I lukely found a used WaveBird for 30 bucks back then. I believe they stopped shipping them 6-8 months before the Wii game out.
