Black Friday is coming up and I will likely be needing to replace my TV - currently watching a shitty 47" insignia.  I didn't have anything special before just a Sony Bravia 48" (no smart features with the exception of screen mirroring) a so-so picture, and crappy sound.


I wouldn't mind easing into a PS4 Pro and a 4K TV along with PSVR but the TV would be the immediate need.  I don't want anything bigger than 50" and no smaller than 42". I'd like smart features but would handily sacrifice those for picture quality.  I also don't want to break the bank since there is always the possibility the 2 year old will give this TV one too many milk baths as well.

Oh wondrous VGCz community as you sift through the soon to be leaked black Friday ads won't you think of this lowly member in need of a decent TV here in the good ole' US of A and link me to any deals t you think are really good?

Yeah he spit milk all over the TV, some of it made it into a lower corner and according to the lady of the house an hour later bye bye TV ... I'm not happy but it's just stuff right? I guess if my older sister kept making me watch stupid Teen Disney programing all the time I might try to take out the TV too.

How close was he? Was this like some projectile across room milk spitting?

No he can get his face within about a foot of the TV.  If he was good enough to hit the TV from across the room I'd put him on the local milk spitting circut and his prize money would be replacing the idiot box.

Made a bet with LipeJJ and HylianYoshi that the XB1 will reach 30 million before Wii U reaches 15 million. Loser has to get avatar picked by winner for 6 months (or if I lose, either 6 months avatar control for both Lipe and Hylian, or my patrick avatar comes back forever).

At this point it is 16 to 3 (I'm one of the three votes for Go Amish), I've done what I could but most of you guys are smarter than me and if you guys say sell the kid ... well maybe the next kid won't spit milk XD

Well, there are some pretty neat deals on target for TVs now... just look at the target thread.

And yh, sell the kind. If you are going with one of those target deals you only need to sell the kid for like $300. Well, maybe $330 to cover shipping.
