So I was playing Brawl w/ a friend today and we were fighting Game & Watch with all items off. However, at one point we killed Game & Watch and when he respawned he went into his Final Smash mode and turned into that big Octopus. We were both really confused. Is this one of things that just happen randomly like when your characters trip in the game or some kinda glitch? not so important, but as an avid Brawl player I need to know haha.

You haven't noticed this yet? Yup, it happens, basically, when the game feels sorry for you. lol.

Also, has anyone been able to knock spawn-smash balls loose? As far as i can tell their there to stay if you spawn with them.

It seems to happen if you get 4 or 5 KOs dealt to you in a row without any KOs dealt on your behalf. It's a good reason to not gang up on a particular character, but instead go for as many as possible.
