I looked at my profile just then....and it says I have 31 000 views. You can see just below on my wall that I was congratulating myself for passing 20k only a few minutes ago.

Whoever did it wasn't sitting there pressing a button for half an hour. It must be the work of some sort of auto-refresher dealy that refreshes the page like 1000 times a second.
