hahaha seriously don't get pumped up like that, watch your blood pressure ;)

anyways, I am talking about Saul Williams, Trent's project, and his first album is called
Niggy Tardust.

But yea, i have never listened to jazz or blues. I might have, but i probably fell asleep at that time. ;)

So Niggy Tardust is a rip off from that? I see..

Anyways, excuse me for listening to music that started at the 90's. Excuse me for not liking the music my parents enjoy.

You know what the best part is? All the music I listed was also my parents' music.

The problem lies in the fact that I am not so young nor ignorant as you.

With that said, I'm done.

You're probably more than right. I know i have missed a lot of music and i can't be arsed to check it out all again. Simply because i am more than happy with what Trent has offer to the world, i don't need anything more than that.

I love ya, Neos. You're a fan of one of the first bands I ever loved (my older brother watched NIN in a 100 person bar, got to slap Reznor's hand back in the day) but on top of that, my brother taught me proper respect for music.

The Pogues. Anyone who listens to Fairytale of New York and doesn't love it is a fucking Communist and deserves to be skewered under any circumstances.

You scumbag, you maggot, you cheap lousy faggot!

Thanks for all the songs and groups guys. I'm working my way down the list. I have downloaded about 75songs so far.

Best live song ever:

Edit: If you plan to download this, only get the live version from Rock in Rio. The studio version is too fast, and not near as epic.

My Recommendations:

Barenaked Ladies (not their popular stuff, except Pinch Me, Start with Gordon and move forward chronologically. You'll be pleasantly surprised.)

Ben Folds Five: All of it, excepting 'Fear of Pop,' which I'm not a huge fan of.

They Might be Giants are incredibly talented, start with "Flood" from 1990, go on to "Factory Showroom" and round it out with "John Henry", "Mink car", and "Apollo 18"

Postal Service & Death Cab for Cutie

Billy Joel, greatest hits volumes 1-3, and then sit down and listen to the entire 'River of Dreams' album

I mean, there's the obvious Beatles, The Who, Pink Floyd, then into the less meaningful but still awesome Styx, Boston, Supertramp, Kansas, Foreigner

I also happen to like Everclear, though their lyrics are a bit forced, and if you like alternative, Foo Fighters, Early Green Day, Nirvana (of course)

There's also 'ol Blue Eyes to consider along with Dean Martin and the rest of the Rat Pack; Etta James, Otis Redding, Marvin Gaye, Louis Armstrong, etc.

I mean, what are you in the mood for?

If you want a highly enjoyable and fun album, Flood by TMBG is great.

I'll take this moment to throw in an America vote while I'm at it. Like Supertramp, they're one of the more underrated bands from the arena rock era.

4) CAKE! Fashion Nugget first, Comfort Eagle Next...oooor, just go chronologically, but try and start with Fashion Nugget.
