They Might be Giants are incredibly talented, start with "Flood" from 1990, go on to "Factory Showroom" and round it out with "John Henry", "Mink car", and "Apollo 18"
If you want a highly enjoyable and fun album, Flood by TMBG is great.
I'll take this moment to throw in an America vote while I'm at it. Like Supertramp, they're one of the more underrated bands from the arena rock era.
